Our client is looking for an experienced EA / PA with a legal background, or interest in gaining experience in a legal environment. If successful in this role you will be providing both executive support in the corporate law section of the department, and personal support to the general manager.

Objectives:

· To provide high level administrative, research and organisational support

· Co-ordinate all correspondence and phone contact and follow up with government agencies, regulators, and relevant peak bodies

· Plan and/or undertake specific administrative tasks, such as organisation of ballots or systematic reporting of data

Accountabilities:

· Provide efficient and confidential executive support and secretarial service. Compose, prepare and type correspondence and reports

· Conduct research, collect and collate information, and prepare reports

· Diary management including organisation of meetings and functions

· Complete agendas and prepare minutes of relevant management meetings

· Develop appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance the accuracy, timeliness and presentation of work, and implement improvements as required

· Screen telephone calls and provide appropriate responses

To be successful in this position you will need:

Extensive and proven administrative and organisational skills

Good secretarial skills and a high level or clerical accuracy

· Proven ability to manage time, priorities, and meet deadlines

· Experience or interest in a legal environment
